What's a Unity Celebration? 

Just think of it as our wedding, minus some traditional stuff.

We made up our own thing that would allow us to share this special day equally with our communities on BOTH COASTS! So we decided to do what makes sense for both of us by having 2 parties--one in California (where Cat is from) and another one in Charlotte (where Tin is from). 

We are calling our parties "Unity Celebrations" to reflect our shared values and importance of uniting both sides of our families, communities, and friends as we become a union ourselves. 

We had our west coast Unity Celebration on April 12, 2014 in Oakland, CA. We are now excited to announce that our Charlotte event will be on November 29, 2014!
